What is a BREEAM ecological assessment?
BREEAM requires an initial evaluation of the ecological value of your site to establish the Ecological Baseline Condition before your development begins. This allows you to then ensure that suitable and appropriate ecological improvements (credits) can be integrated into the design of your development in accordance with the level of standard that you are aiming for.
When do I need to get in touch?
If a development project is aiming for, or working toward, achieving accreditation or a certain standard under BREEAM we can provide an ecological assessment to help reach your standard.
EcoNorth strongly recommend that you undertake your ecological survey and site evaluation at your earliest opportunity and definitely before you draw up your development proposals.
Once you contact us and we undertake a survey, your site can be evaluated and the presence of protected species identified, all of which allow us to fully assess a project under the scheme.
If you need any of these assessments just get in touch with us where we can provide you with a quote.
