A Safe Pair of Hands

EcoNorth are passionate about providing our team with a safe, healthy and happy working environment, and assuring our clients of the high standards we work to.

Health Safety Policy and Procedure

Our Health and Safety has been fully accredited by Acclaim Accreditation, which certifies our ability to carry out work  safely and to the standards required under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. Acclaim Accreditation is a member of ‘Safety Schemes In Procurement’ (SSIP), which is an umbrella organisation for stage 1 health and safety assessment schemes. SSIP is recognised by a large and growing number of buyers within the construction industry. We are registered supplier with Constructionline the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service.

All projects are subject to rigorous  activity and site-specific Risk Assessments and are updated in the field as and when new risks are identified. EcoNorth is currently working towards OHSAS 18001 accreditation which it anticipates having in place by March end, 2018.

Quality Policy

The EcoNorth Quality Policy and Procedures set out our robust approach to ensuring quality across all our working practices. Specifically, we follow clear quality control procedure and every document produced, including maps and target notes, go through a three-stage review process including a technical review by a Senior Ecologist and final sign off by the Principal Ecologist or Managing Director. EcoNorth is currently working towards ISO9001 accreditation which it anticipates having in place shortly.

Complaints Policy

We strive to deliver excellent service every time, but we know we are not perfect. EcoNorth views complaints as an opportunity to learn and improve for the future, as well as a chance to put things right for the person or organisation which is why have a clear and transparent complaints policy.

Insurance 2017-2018

No matter how large or small your project it is we understand that development can be a risky business which is why we ensure we have an appropriate level of insurance to put your mind at ease. EcoNorth is insured for £10 million public liability, professional indemnity and employers liability.
