EcoNorth’s Bake Off Event For Anti Slavery Day

Sandi's Chocolate Cake 2023

EcoNorth’s team celebrated Anti Slavery Day on Wednesday 18 October 2023 by holding our second Bake Off event. This year’s theme was the two way relationship between modern slavery, and environmental damage and climate change.

There was very little to choose between the Bake Off entries, making the job of Head Judge Mark somewhat challenging. The winner of the coveted Star Baker award was Sandi for her delicious, themed chocolate cake. The runner ups were John, Erin and Caitlin for their scrumptious chocolate brownies, and Henry for his beautiful, refreshing lemon drizzle cake.
