Vacancy – Assistant Ecologist

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing team as Assistant Ecologist delivering interesting and challenging ecology consultancy across England, Scotland and Ireland.

The right candidate must share our passion for wildlife whilst demonstrating commitment to our ethos of delivering pragmatic services to clients. Specifically, we are interested in hearing from those who have a BSc in a relevant subject and a minimum of one survey season working within an ecological consultancy, or several years of direct relevant experience. Preference will be given to those candidates who have undertaken Ecological Clerk of Works function.

For this role you will need to contribute to client focused scientific reports and undertake a range of habitat and protected species surveys using your strong identification skills and knowledge of survey methods. You will also a need a can do attitude, a willingness to work away from home for several days at a time, and ability to support colleagues on large scale complex projects when required.
