ISO 9001 Achievement

EcoNorth has successfully attained ISO 9001 certification. ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard that sets out the requirements for consistent and effective management to help organisations become more efficient and to improve customer satisfaction. The key quality management principles include strong customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, evidence-based decision making, relationship management, and continual improvement.

A comprehensive action plan was designed to facilitate the development and implementation of our new Quality Management System (QMS) over a nine month period. The roles of Quality Manager, Officer and Champion were assigned to employees and training was conducted. All team members made vital contributions in various ways to our QMS and effective team communications ensured that we stayed on track throughout the process.

The two-stage audit took place in March and April 2022 and was carried out by British Assessment Bureau, one of the UK’s leading ISO certification bodies with UKAS accreditation.

EcoNorth’s achievement clearly demonstrates our commitment to the delivery of a consistently high-quality professional service, that meets  all client and regulatory requirements as well as the ISO standard, in order to maximise client satisfaction.

Our goal for the year ahead is to build on this achievement by making continuous improvements to the QMS, and promoting ongoing team engagement with quality management principles and the audit process.
